What in the World is a Student-Led Movement?
Good question. Let’s take care of the easy part first – Student-Led = something that is led by…well, by students. They can be coached by teachers, youth workers or others but the carrying out of the task at hand is done by the students. OK, so that takes care of that. Now… what about movement?
The dictionary defines movement like this: “a progressive development of ideas toward a particular conclusion.” In other words, moving towards accomplishing a mission with specific goals and purpose. Sounds pretty good right?
So if you put those 2 things together, a student-led movement sounds something like this: A team of students moving towards accomplishing a mission with specific goals and purpose. In the case of Souled Out Clubs, the mission is pretty simple – reach as many students on your middle and high school campus for Christ as possible by both sharing and showing the love of Christ.
Our heart, at LifeLight, is to help students accomplish the mission that God has given them to reach their friends for Christ on their campus. Souled Out Clubs are just one way to help make that happen.
We invite you take a look around and see what ideas, tools and resources exist here to help you be a part of this Student-Led Movement, bring a Souled Out Club to your campus and begin your ministry as soon as possible. Don’t hesitate to contact us here by phone or email at any time so we can journey with you through process.
Blessings on you. We’re glad you stopped by.
